The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will launch a mentoring program with Saudi Arabia based “on Spanish football talent”, an initiative framed in the agreements reached for the Spanish Super Cup, which will be held in the Asian country for two more years, and aimed at offering “the Spanish experience” to develop football in the Arabian peninsula nation.
From this Wednesday to Thursday, July 23, there will be a series of workshops of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation with speakers from the RFEF specialized in women's football, national teams, legal aspects, international relations, competitions and marketing.
This Wednesday, the Spanish female coach, Jorge Vilda, will detail the general structure of this sport in Spain, It will delve into the development and growth of recent years, as well as the game model and methodology of the Spanish team.
“Women's football is a priority for the RFEF and, within the agreements of the Spanish Super Cup, Advice was included to promote this sport in this country, with a view to creating a women's league. With this initiative the first step is taken to do so, “states the federative body.
