The RFEF accepts the ACFF proposal and Spanish women’s football will have its first agreement

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced that it has accepted the proposal of the Association of Women's Soccer Clubs (ACFF) to guarantee the signing of the agreement with the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) on the first collective agreement of women's football Spanish.

The approval of the federative body thus sealed the agreement reached by the employers and the majority union after the strike of the players of Primera Iberdrola, and whose term expires on Wednesday. In this way, the first collective agreement for footballers will be signed, which will include, among other achievements, a gross annual salary of 16,000 euros for full-time and a minimum partiality of 75%.

In this way, the RFEF allows these clubs to join the Elite Program, which will allow them to receive 500,000 euros a year in the case of the entities of the First Iberdrola, and 100,000 euros to those of the Iberdrola Challenge -Second Division-. In the event that they were not integrated in it, they may receive the proportional part from the moment of signature.

In addition, the federation has also announced that it has accepted the initial proposal of the ACFF to hold two matches per day for the Mediapro company, with which the Association had initially signed, releasing the rest of the parties “for the purpose of obtaining higher income “.

With this, the retransmission of the First Iberdrola parties is unlocked; The ACFF proposed to release the clubs from the agreement with its operator, maintaining the retransmission of two matches per day with a certain television operator in conditions that are “fully accepted” by the RFEF.
