The RFEBM distributes 230,000 euros among the clubs of the Liga Guerreras Iberdrola

MADRID, 3 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM) has allocated, for the fourth consecutive season and “voluntarily”, a substantial amount, for a total of 230,000 euros from the collaboration agreement with Iberdrola, to the participating clubs in the last season of the Iberdrola Warrior League, the first women’s division.

Those 230,000 euros will be distributed among all the clubs based on the markers set by the federal entity for the improvement of the working conditions of the players, such as the type of contracts or the contribution of each club in the Social Security.

The RFEBM assures that in the past year there was a “notable increase” in these labor improvements, which reinforces its commitment to the “regularization” of the working conditions of the players and the effort that the clubs are making, all of this to promote the highest women’s league competition.

Rocasa Gran Canaria will be the club that receives the most amount (27,361 euros) by having 18 players hired –16 full-time–. They are followed by Super Amara Bera Bera (26,851 euros) and Costa del Sol Málaga (23,136), and Mecalia Atlético Guardés (21,843) also exceeds 20,000 euros.

“From the RFEBM we thank the clubs for the growth and commitment carried out to guarantee the best conditions for the players, in such a way that the range of receiving aid each season is more equal,” said the federation.

Allocating this amount to promoting the commitment to the labor improvement of the players continues to be a “fundamental pillar” of the strategic plan for the development of women’s handball of the RFEBM, agreed upon with Iberdrola and the Higher Sports Council through the General Sub-directorate for Women and Sport, within the Universo Mujer III program.
