The referee annulled Valverde the tie after the VAR warning

In the 92nd minute of Real Madrid-Shakhtar, with 2-3 on the scoreboard, the white team had a corner. Kroos executed a strategy play and served Valverde back, who unloaded a hard shot that ended up entering the goal after touching a defender and passing by Vinicius, who was in an advanced position in front of the Ukrainian team's goalkeeper. It was the tie, but the white joy did not last long.

The VAR warned the referee to go and observe the action and, finally, annulled the goal due to Vinicius's irregular situation. It coincides with the criteria of Iturralde González, SER and AS referee, who explained the following in Carrusel Deportivo: “It is Vinicius offside due to interference with goalkeeper Trubin. In those actions, UEFA is very clear about it: it is offside due to player interference with respect to the goalkeeper.”
