However, despite her popularity, the Spanish-Cuban artist is not a big fan of spending time on social media. “Right now I only have Instagram and I hardly use it because I feel like things are always bad on social media. If it were up to me, I would delete Instagram right now, but I can’t,” she told Vanity Fair.

Although she does not like having such a digital presence, she admits that its use has been positive for her career: “I understand that I am not just an actress. I have other brands that I am working with and I have other commitments. It has been good for Blonde and for the movies I want to talk about.” “It’s complicated because you feel the pressure to share a personal idea, or something about your private life, to keep people interested in you. You have to find a balance somehow, which is very difficult for me,” admits Ana.

In addition, he believes that the concept of the movie star has been diluted over time since the arrival of the networks: “I feel that the new generations do not have that concept (of the mystery that surrounds fame), due to the networks social”. “There’s so much information out there and it’s overshared. The concept of a movie star is someone untouchable only seen on screen. That mystery is gone,” she laments.
