The Provincial Council will be the main sponsor of Malaga until 2023

Málaga and the Málaga Provincial Council have reached a preliminary agreement for the supramunicipal institution to become the main sponsor of the club and their logo will appear on the front of the jerseys of all the blue and white teams during the next two seasons, 2021-22 and 2022-23. The club will earn around one million euros from this sponsorship deal, about half a million per season. Said agreement must still complete the ordinary internal procedure of the Diputación to reach the rank of officer, which will be a reality soon.

The president of the provincial body, Francisco Salado, and the judicial administrator of Malaga, José María Muñoz, have signed this commitment of collaboration this Friday that It will be an important economic boost for the club, which continues to face a very delicate financial situation. “Malaga has weathered many crises and it will win this one too. We all know his capacity for sacrifice and improvement, that's why we want to help their return to the elite, to the First Division, as soon as possible. We also know that Málaga represents the dreams and illusions of thousands of children in the province. For them and for all the fans we had to be here today, ”Salado told the club's official media.

From Malaga they assure that this sponsorship agreement will give “a vital economic boost” and help “to guarantee the near future of the club”. Muñoz wanted to thank the club's media for the effort made by the Provincial Council: “The club is going through a critical moment and the Provincial Council has responded to our call and we are very grateful. Even so, we continue to need sponsors to join this new Malaga that we are all ”.

During the current season it has been Tesesa, a Malaga company that for many years has served as one of the club's main sponsors, which has appeared on the front of the shirts of the different Málaga teams. Micolchón, vertically on one of the sides of the shirts, has also been part of the clothing of the Martiricos entity this year.
