The Princess of Asturias Doña Leonor and the Infanta Doña Sofía support the national team in London

MADRID, 16 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Princess of Asturias Leonor and the Infanta Sofía supported the Spanish women’s soccer team this Saturday in the key match against Denmark, at stake the pass to the quarterfinals of Euro 2022 that is being played in England.

The Royal House wanted to be together with the delegation of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), chaired by Luis Rubiales, and the national team in the third and last match of the group stage, where Spain needed at least a draw to pass .

The Princess of Asturias Leonor and the Infanta Sofía were in the box at the Brentford Community Stadium in London, where Spain beat Denmark (0-1) to now meet in the quarterfinals with the host England. Also present were the president of the RFEF Women’s Football Committee, Rafael del Amo, and the Minister of Culture and Sport, Miquel Iceta.
