The world of Barcelona’s peñas has been shaken for a painful and unexpected news: the death, at the age of 35, by Nicolas Fayet, president of the Penya Barça Lyon, one of the most active supporters among international supporters clubs and with a strong leadership in the world of French-speaking Barcelona supporters clubs. The tragic news comes only a week later of the loss of Jaume Múria, president of the Penya de La Granada and the Federation of Supporters Clubs of Garraf, Penedès and Anoia.
Fayet passed away last morning of a heart attack while he slept. On the same Saturday night the official Twitter account of the Penya de Lyon published a photo of several members of the Penya, including Fayet, after the victory against Espanyol.

Fayet attended the elections to the presidency of the World Federation, belonging to the World Confederation of Penyes Barcelonistes last summer, but lost to Toni Freire. It was a person very dear by Barcelona fans from all over Europe.
The manager responsible for FC Barcelona Supporters Clubs, Josep Ignasi Macià, has expressed his pain and has published a photograph of both at the Camp Nou with the text “trist per la mort de l’amic
@nicoculer, accompany me in the sentiment to the seva family and friends of @PenyaLyon. I rest in pau. “(Sad for the death of friend @nicoculer, I accompany his family and friends from @PenyaLyon in the sentiment. Rest in peace).
From these lines Mundo Deportivo wants to join to the pain of the family, friends and Barcelona fans from Lyon.
