The Premier punishes the Super League clubs with a 25 million fine

The six English clubs initially enrolled in the Super league European football club have agreed to pay a joint fine of 22 million pounds (25.5 million euros) to the Premier, after withdrawing from a project in which the Real Madrid, the FC Barcelona and the Juventus, as reported on Wednesday by the Sky chain and later announced by the Premier League itself.

The six aforementioned English clubs appeared on April 18 as founding members, along with six others, of the so-called European Super League, but they abandoned the project just three days later, under pressure from the Premier, UEFA, FIFA, his hobbies and the British Government.

The UEFA has launched a disciplinary investigation for a possible violation of its legal framework by the Real Madrid, the Barcelona and the Juventus, which could lead to fines and your exclusion from the Champions League. The three rebel clubs, for their part, have brought this question to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) to decide whether there is abuse of a dominant position of the UEFA in the 'Superliga case.
