Pope Francis received Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Vatican on Tuesday, forward of Milan, with whom he chatted for a few minutes and exchanged gifts.
Shortly after the meeting, Ibrahimovic published a photo on his social networks in which he smiles with the Pope, accompanied by the message “peace and love”.
The forward of the Milan gave the pope his new book “Adrenalin”, in which he reviews the path that led him to become a professional footballer, and accompanied him with a special dedication.
He also gave the Pope, a great football fan, his Milan jersey with the number 11.
Francisco gave Ibrahimovic the text “Sport according to Pope Francis” and highlighted the importance of the values of sport, local media report.
