The Polar Vantage V3 wins the iF Design Award 2024

MADRID, 13 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Vantage V3 model from Polar, a sports technology company for training, health and well-being, has been awarded the 2024 iF Design Award in the Product and Watches-Jewelry categories.

The Vantage V3 won over the jury, made up of 132 independent experts from around the world, for its completely new design that allows it to be worn for daily use and for training sessions. The watch received high marks in all classified categories and stood out especially in Shape, obtaining a score of 90 out of 100.

“We are very proud of this achievement, which is a testament to the determination, commitment and attention to detail of our entire company. Winning a design award today requires extraordinary hard work from all areas of the company, “from product decision-making to mechanics and user interface to sourcing. Any deficiencies in these areas would make the product completely different,” said Polar Electro CEO Sander Werring.

Announced in October 2023, the Polar Vantage V3 is a next-generation watch powered by Polar Elixir biosensor technology. Its Nordic-inspired design offers a balance between simplicity, functionality and durability.

The high-resolution AMOLED touchscreen is protected by a lightweight aluminum casing. The watch features dual-frequency GPS, detailed topographic maps, and a full suite of training features, performance and recovery tests, and nighttime sleep tracking.

The iF Design Award is organized annually by the Hannover-based company iF International Forum Design GmbH. This year almost 11,000 participants from 72 countries submitted their work in the hope of receiving the quality seal.

The Vantage V3 distinction marks the twelfth time that Polar has received this prestigious award. International recognition from the world’s oldest independent design organization affirms Polar’s long-term dedication to guiding people on their health and sports journey using cutting-edge technology combined with stylish designs.

“Polar has a rich history of integrating data into elegant devices, and we are committed to maintaining the same high standard in the future. I am excited that the passion we have for our work is recognized again by the iF Design Award and that we have earned our place among the best in the industry with our twelve awards,” celebrated Werring.
