The Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank shines at the Extreme Barcelona

MADRID, 16 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), framed for the third consecutive year in the Extreme Barcelona, ​​has experienced another successful stop in Barcelona this Saturday, which has had the participation of 300 men and women players, 150 games with more than 3,000 visitors during the day.

The Parc del Forum in Barcelona was the scene of the sixth stop of the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank 2023 circuit, taking over the Catalan capital from Vigo, Córdoba, Toledo, Pamplona and Logroño, where the five previous stops were held.

The day saw the participation of 300 registered players, distributed in 75 teams, including wheelchair teams and Somos Saludables teams from CaixaBank, which played a total of 150 matches.

Throughout this Saturday, which lasted from early morning until mid-afternoon, the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank slopes received more than 3,000 visitors.

In addition to the competitive matches, the usual shooting and skill contests led by FEB Ambassador Fernando Romay were held, and at the end of the day, prizes were distributed to the winning teams in each category. A team of volunteers assigned to the FEB-CaixaBank Volunteer Program has participated in the entire logistics section.

The stop has been a new participation success and has had the support of Barcelona City Council and EsportCat, as well as the collaboration of the Catalan Basketball Federation.

“I want to thank CaixaBank, which has been helping us from day one. In addition to 3×3 basketball, here you will find new sports, alternative sports to the soccer ball: breaking, bikes, skateboarding, scootuering. Today, here, with the day so sunny and with views of the sea, I hope we all have a great time and that there is a good competition,” said Extreme Barcelona director, Víctor Casanovas.

“The atmosphere that we have experienced once again in Barcelona. If the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank is one of the FEB programs with the longest run, it is not by chance. Today we have once again experienced the passion of the boys and girls who “They have fun with basketball and the enthusiasm of the families who accompany them.
