The playoff to Second is advanced

The Delegated Commission of the Federation has met this Monday and has agreed to change the dates in the promotion playoff from Primeras RFEF to professional football. The semifinals will be played on June 4 and 5.

The promotion promotion of Primera RFEF was initially set for June 8 and 9 for the four semifinal matches and for the finals on June 11 and 12. Now, the semifinals will also be played on the weekend. The place chosen by the Federation is Galicia, although the stadiums are not yet known. In said playoff The teams that finish the regular league between second and fifth places, both included, from each group will participate and two tickets will be at stake to be promoted to Second. The other two promotions are destined for those who finish champion of each group.

“The Delegate Commission of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, meeting today at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, has unanimously approved the modification of the calendar of the playoffs of the First RFEF.

After the approved modification, the qualifying rounds for promotion, initially scheduled for June 8 and 9, are brought forward to June 4 and 5.

On the other hand, in this Monday’s session various modifications and changes in the competition rules and bases were also approved, among which are the clarification of the calculation of accumulation of yellow cards in case of passing to non-regular final phases in some competitions and categories”.
