The players who arrived at Atlético via Porto

Jackson Martinez

The Colombian was Atlético’s great signing for the 2015-16 season. The rojiblanco team lost Mandzukic, who in turn had come to replace Diego Costa, and the chosen one was Jackson Martínez, who was an absolute failure. Atlético paid 37.1 million euros to Porto and the forward played 22 official competition matches, with only three goals and three assists. He did not adapt to Atlético and left in the winter market for China, to Guangzhou Evergrande. The transfer was also very high: 42 million. Later it ended up in Portimonense. Atlético had the great antecedent of Radamel Falcao, but with Jackson they could not achieve it.
