The Mexican forward Raul Jimenez had to leave on a stretcher and with a respirator from the duel between Arsenal and the Wolverhampton Wanderers after suffering a brutal head clash with David Luiz.
The incident occurred five minutes into the match, when Jiménez and Luiz collided at the exit of a corner for Arsenal.
The Mexican attacker was assisted for more than 20 minutes on the grass and taken out on a stretcher, while Luiz visibly bled and received a bulky bandage on his head. Raúl Jiménez had to need oxygen and was transferred to a hospital.
According to Sky Sports, the Aztec striker is conscious and responding well to treatment.
The Brazilian, who was able to continue playing, became interested in the state of Jiménez while he was taken out by the band of the Emirates Stadium.
