The Athletic commissioning partners have rejected the management of the season and the budget presented by the Elizegi board for the present and have approved the closing of accounts for last year and the appointment of César Saéz as the new manager. The current Athletic president has hinted at the start of this meeting that he will not attend the next elections to the Ibaigane chair. Elections that, according to the same has commented, will be carried out in June.
The first of the issues put to a vote by the current heads of the entity consisted of the management of the board of directors itself during the past season. The proposal had a total of 381 positives, 492 negatives, 23 blank and 14 null, for which it was rejected.
The second matter decided at the polls was in the accounts corresponding to the last campaign. Accounts that were settled with a real deficit of 24.6 million. This matter had 520 affirmative votes, 368 negative, 13 blank and 9 invalid.
The third focused on the planned budget for the current season. The chapter of expenses in this new budget amounts to 140.8 million while that of income remains at 133.5 million, so a deficit of 5.3 million is foreseen in advance. The vote ended with 402 yes, 478 no, 23 blank and 4 abstentions. Another matter that, therefore, was not approved.
The fourth and last that the delegates present in San Mamés had to vote affected the ratification of César Sáez as a new member of the Board of Directors. At that point, the voting resulted in 555 yes, 248 no, 93 blank votes and 7 abstentions.
