The obstacles to Pjanic's return to Juventus

Miralem Pjanic has not lived at Barcelona the season he dreamed of. His relationship with Koeman never took off and the Bosnian closed its course with 30 presences and less than 1,300 minutes on the green. In the last 15 days of the League, only 20 minutes were seen and the player expressed his discomfort with a message posted on Instagram: “This season leaves questions unanswered.”

The continuity of Koeman forces him to look for another destination, and for his next adventure there has been talk of a return 'home': Juventus. The Bianconero club needs to strengthen its core and, in addition to Locatelli (who with his performances in the Euro has doubled its price, going from 30 million to almost 60) they think of the Barça player, who was a key man during the Allegri era. The Italian would be delighted to welcome him back and Barcelona, for their part, obviously consider him one of the first names on the starting list. The clubs have spoken about it in recent weeks, but the operation is not easy at all.

What complicates the movement is what happened a year ago: Pjanic cost Barça 60 million, while Juve signed Arthur for 72. The agreement served to settle the accounts of both teams and, therefore, now returning the Bosnian with a loan (an option that the 'Corriere dello Sport' spoke about today) could cause problems. The managers are thinking about it and, while the midfielder waits for a call, aware that staying in Barcelona would mean another year sitting on the bench. In recent weeks there have also been rumors about Spalletti's Inter and Napoli, who during his second spell at Roma, did not take his sale well at all. Of course, to return to Italy the Bosnian should first of all cut his salary. At the Camp Nou he earns around 7 million net and no Calcio club will offer him this figure.
