“The market is not that it is stopped, what happens is that the way it works is like this. All these weeks are full of contacts, calls, negotiations, but in the end to make decisions because there always comes a time when the players , agents, the clubs, they decide. Right now, work hard, have everything ready, but in this case with the calm and confidence that we have a great squad, a great team. We have some players who also want to stay at Betis practically all of them. We have a team that works, with which I would say to Betis fans to be calm and that of course the objective of this market is, as always, to start next year’s season with an even better team than the one we have this year. That’s where we’re going and also counting on the coach we have, with the sports management. I think that in the end this is working and we’re going to continue on that path”, he commented Lopez Catalan in statements to RTV Betis.

“The year has been spectacular”

Lopez Catalan analyzed the growth of Real Betiswho for the second time in history repeats qualifying for European competition and does so for the first time with the same coach, Manuel Pellegrini: “The year has been spectacular. I think that not only the year, we have already had a fairly good cycle, going to Milan, Budapest, Leverkusen, Saint Petersburg. To fight for the Copa del Rey because we believe we can be there. unity, stability, of happy, happy players. Of a Foundation that we have that does a lot of social work. Of all these weeks with the supporters clubs with the Copa del Rey. I think that everything is raising our level of happiness and I think that it is fed back and It goes further. So you have to continue working with humility and calm but you also have to enjoy it with your Betis friends,” said the Betis vice-president.

Lopez Catalan enjoyed Monday night with the club’s tribute to the 3,000 oldest Betis members. “It’s a day of celebration, of joy. It’s looking at the South Goal and seeing all our Betis friends to close the season and being together for a while is a spectacular joy. And then always stepping on the grass is an emotion. Even for us , that we are here every day, gives us a lot of emotion”.
