The Ministry of Culture and Sports launches the campaign to combat piracy ‘I like it, I pay for it’

MADRID, 5 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Ministry of Culture and Sports has launched the campaign to combat piracy with the slogans ‘I like it, I pay it’, ‘I’m a fan, I pay it’ and ‘I want it, I pay it’ to encourage respect for property rights intellectual property and promote legal and safe access to artistic, cultural, journalistic and sports content protected by intellectual property.

Aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years old and with a simple, clear, direct, positive and forceful message, it highlights the breadth of areas covered by intellectual property, from literature and cinema to video games, underlining its relevance as fundamental pillar in very diverse cultural expressions.

The campaign is made up of several graphic, sound and audiovisual pieces that will be disseminated through social networks, press, audio and television platforms and advertising media outside university areas during the month of October. For its dissemination, the hashtags #MeGustaLoPago, #Lo QuieroLoPago and #SoyFanLoPago will be used.

One of the novelties is the inclusion of a direct reference to the world of sports, thus recognizing the need to combat piracy of live sporting events.

In addition, the press and magazine sector is specifically mentioned, with the aim of helping to overcome the challenges posed by piracy through instant messaging applications.

The campaign, whose creativity has been developed by the ‘Three Graphic Types’ studio in collaboration and coordination with the General Subdirectorate of Intellectual Property of the General Directorate of Cultural Industries, Intellectual Property and Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, has the collaboration from DAZN, LaLiga and Telefónica Movistar.
