The last day of subgroup 1A is postponed to March 28

The RFEF has acted with logic and the dispute of the last day of subgroup 1A of Second Division B will be postponed one week. The Competition Judge has communicated it this Sunday, setting the five final matches of the first phase for next Sunday, March 28 at 12:00 in a unified schedule.

In this way, all teams will play 90 decisive minutes under equal conditions and will give time to Racing de Ferrol, Coruxo and Guijuelo to recover the pending matches due to the positives in COVID of the departmental group. There are still no dates for those duels, but the Ferrol people have already come out of quarantine and have started training.

The competition judge is clear that “in the case at hand, there can be no doubt that the dispute of postponed matches on dates after the dispute of the last day when the final classification is still to be determined and according to the score obtained in the remaining matches may have alteration of the positions of access to the specific Second Phases would imply a breakdown of the aforementioned guiding principles and an impairment of a competition of the size of the Second Division B“.
