The lack of aim tarnishes the Real

The goal is the forbidden fruit of the Real. None was able to materialize Imanol’s team so that his manifest superiority over Betis was recorded on the record. The lunar recurrence prevented victory in an Anoeta that experienced the atmosphere of great occasions. Everything remains the same in the classification. La Real is sixth, two points behind the Verdiblancos, with a wide advantage with seventh, waiting for what the day holds. Brilliance was a common denominator in txuri urdin football. Little is therefore the point added, related to the merits contracted.

Imanol was convinced by the result of the plan he devised in Elche: the only novelty was Gorosabel, due to Zaldua’s sanction, in the reissue of the device that the coach implanted a day ago. The main characteristic is the central spider web woven by Zubimendi, Merino, Rafinha and Silva and the pair formed by Isak and Sorloth at the point. Everyone makes each other better.

They were the promoters of the realistic government over Betis in a first half of local color. Anoeta rubbed her hands with fragments of the best Real of the season. The fastest, liveliest, precise. The problem of those first 45 minutes was recurring. The leads of the goal melt.

La Real unmasted Betis at times with grass-level associations that were brilliant as well as effective. Merino, Rafinha and Silva connected with the strikers like lifelong friends who know each other by looking at each other. Rico, exceptional, joined the chemistry on the left, combining and crossing accurately.

Isak was the exponent of the mistake facing the door. By triple game. There is a sense of lack of confidence in the Swedish striker. He didn’t stop trying. Bravo cleared his first drive and caught his last, a mistake by Isak because Silva had left him alone inside the box. The Nordic also armed the right from afar, with force. He walked off to the stands. Zubimendi clearly scored offside and Merino did not catch a shipment from Rico.

Real’s defense got into the game to the core and Betis played uncomfortably, of course until the break. Canales did find a loophole in an unchecking by Moreno that Gorosabel dined on. William Carvalho had the most frank in the most dangerous transition of the Andalusians. The Portuguese shot high from inside the txuri urdin area. The tables of the intermission reflected more the problems of the Real to define than its remarkable football.

Sorloth looks for the goal

The fact that there was less and less time left made the Real lower their desire to risk. Knowing that opening the game in the channel could favor a more toned Betis in the resumption, under Fekir’s orders. The pulse balanced.

Sorloth pioneered the creation of second-act opportunities. He excessively crossed the Norwegian a great corner from Silva. Without wrinkling, Betis responded by stretching and Canales disturbed with a direct free kick that grazed the wood.

Januzaj and Portu replaced Rafinha and Isak and Real gained more consistency if possible because Silva delayed his position. Betis seemed more conformist as the night progressed. As if the point were a sufficient invoice for the Sevillians.

Incomprehensible expulsion to Silva

Again Sorloth, author of a great match, was the author of a personal action that ended in a corner kick. Strategy stocks were gaining value. Le Normand finished off high in the 85th minute. Merino was about to sign the assist of the year: a backheel that Bravo stopped on the way to Sorloth’s boots, who was waiting in front of goal. La Real kept pushing.

The controversy was the culmination. Díaz de Mero decided to expel Silva in the extension in a general brawl. Hard to understand. The Gran Canaria could not believe it. The explanations are just as impossible as those corresponding to the lack of a goal by a Real whose brightness goes out before the rival goal.

Real: Remiro, Gorosabel (Aritz, m. 86), Zubeldia, Le Normand, Rico, Zubimendi, Merino, Rafinha (Januzaj, m. 64), Silva, Isak (Portu, m. 79), Sorloth.

Betis:
