The Fuenlabrada reported on the status of the injuries of two players of great importance to the squad such as the midfielder Iban Salvador and the forward Sekou gassama.
In the case of the former, who has been a regular starter with José Ramón Sandoval and also started the first game as coach of Jose Luis Oltra, retired on a stretcher during the latter against Almería due to a knee sprain.
“The tests carried out have confirmed that the player suffers a sprain of the internal collateral ligament of his left knee. The time the player is absent will depend on his evolution,” said the club.
For his part, Sekou Gassama, who has five goals for Madrid, has not played since last November 14 due to physical problems that will force him to be intervened again.
“Sekou Gassama will undergo surgery again this Thursday. The player has to undergo an operation with the intention of reaching the last phase of the season in optimal condition,” Fuenlabrada said.
