The Infanta Sofía debuts at the Welsh school on September 5: Leonor hands over the baton to her

Leonor hand over the baton to his sister Sofia in Wales. The Princess of Asturias concludes her second year of Baccalaureate at the UWC Atlantic College in May. Her last day of class will be the 20th of that month. The heiress thus completes her international training in the World Colleges network, which favors interculturality and fosters the coexistence of students of more than 70 different nationalities. Three months later, on August 29, Infanta Sofía, like the rest of her companions, sets course for the United Kingdom, according to the center itself. A few days later, the classrooms at St Donat Castle, in the Vale of Glamorgan (Wales), will open.

September 5 is the official start date of the 2023-2024 academic year for First-year Baccalaureate students at the UWC Atlantic College boarding school, the school has published on its website. During the next summer, Leonor will be able to share experiences with her sister, Sofía, before she takes the plane to the United Kingdom. This mentoring it will be very useful to the infanta, who will fly away from her family at the age of 16.

The program that Sofía is going to study is the one that her sister has followed. It will take place in two academic years (2023-24 and 2024-25) and includes subjects of science and letters.
