The house that Matthew Perry rented in Beverly Hills: he lived with his assistant and paid $49,000 a month

Matthew PerryThe eternal Chandler in Friends, died last October 28 at the young age of 54. He spent his last year accompanied by his Japanese assistant in the house he rented in the luxurious Beverly Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

As published by the American media Daily Mail, Perry rented a three-bedroom house for just over a year, as his usual home was under construction. The price of the property was $49,000. Kenny Iwamasahis assistant, would have accompanied him in dealing with personal issues for just over two decades.

Just two weeks before his death, Matthew returned to his already renovated house in Pacific Palidades (Los Angeles), valued at six million dollars. As pointed out Daily Mailsources close to the actor claim that his assistant could have been the person who discovered Perry’s lifeless body.

The future of your assets

The great unknown, after his death, is the fate of his multimillion-dollar assets, since the actor had no children nor was he married. Therefore, the CNBC delved into this issue, and through Charlie Douglaa financial expert, outlined three possibilities for the future of your possessions.

First of all, that the actor has designated one or more beneficiaries, something that the actors’ union also contemplates. Secondly, that Perry has appointed a trust to distribute the large inheritance according to the criteria established by himself during his lifetime. And, thirdly, if the actor did not designate any recipient or trust, the family could be the beneficiary of the actor’s total annual income: “It is likely that Perry did not write anything as he did not have a spouse or children”the expert speculated.

If the latter occurs, it will be the state that determines what to do with Perry’s multimillion-dollar estate. In this sense, it must be taken into account that US legislation is different between territories. Therefore, if California regulations are applied, the family will be the beneficiary of the 20 million dollars that it received each year for the broadcast of the series. Friends on streaming platforms, although it stopped broadcasting almost 20 years ago.
