The ‘Hispanics’ finish an undefeated essay on the way to the World Cup

Spain surpasses Argentina in the closing of the TIE in Benidorm before facing the World Cup from the 12th

MADRID, 7 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish men’s handball team ended the International Tournament of Spain with victory this Saturday, undefeated champion after beating Argentina (31-20), before traveling to Poland for the imminent 2023 World Cup.

Jordi Ribera’s team beat the South American team on the third day of the TIE held at the Palau d’Esports l’Illa in Benidorm, after beating Romania on Thursday and Bahrain on Friday. Spain rotated and plugged in all its pieces facing the world event in Poland and Sweden in which it debuts on January 12 against Montenegro.

The ‘Hispanos’ once again had a great Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas under the sticks, while Ferran Solé left his great efficiency from seven meters. The start was not the best but Álex Dujshebaev showed his leadership facet to turn the score around and arrive at half-time with income (16-10).

Dani Dujshebaev also left his mark, although Argentina still stood up after the restart, but Rodrigo Corrales once again showed the great level of the goal of the runner-up in Europe. Ribera also gave way to Kauldi Odriozola and Dani Fernández, who punished the ‘Gladiadores’ errors with speed and precision.
