The Higuain joined the list of brothers who scored in the same game

Gonzalo and Federico Higuaín made history this Saturday, by scoring the goals that gave Inter Miami victory in their match of MLS Week 2 against the Philadelphia Union and becoming the first pair of brothers to score in the same game, within the American league in their entire history, at the time of join a select list of siblings who have scored during the same match.

The Argentine players scored at 73 'and 83', for Inter Miami to turn the score around and take the first three points of the Neville Era, so that in addition, the Higuain made history and equaled what was done by a select group of brothers throughout the world.

Brothers with a goal in the same game

These are the pairs of brothers who have scored a goal in the same game, around the world:

Eden and Thorgan Hazard

One of the most talented and well-known pairs of brothers today is the Hazard brothers, who during qualification for Euro 2020 they scored for the Belgian team during the match against Russia.

Oscar and Paul Uscanga

In Mexican soccer there was a similar situation, when the Uscanga brothers scored for the Atlante team during a match, against Mérida FC of Clausura 2017 in the second division of Aztec football.

Lorenzo and Roberto Insigne

Although, it is difficult for two brothers to score in the same game wearing the same shirt, it is even less common for two brothers to score facing each other as rivals, as happened just a few months ago, when the Insigne brothers scored in their Serie A duel. Roberto scored the first and advanced Benevento, while Lorenzo tied Napoli, in a duel that ended with victory for the Napolitano team.

Matteo and Federico Ricci

It was not the first time that two brothers scored a goal in the same game but with different shirts in Serie A, because in 2018, the Ricci twins scored when Benevento faced Spezia in Serie B. Matteo scored one of the goals with which his team beat his brother's team 3 to 1, which marked the discount.
