The ‘Guerreras’ knock down Brazil and will face Germany in the World Cup quarterfinals

Spain arrives leader and undefeated at the crosses

MADRID, 12 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish women’s handball team defeated Brazil (27-24) this Sunday on the last day of the ‘Main Round’ of the World Cup in Spain 2021, to advance to the quarterfinals as leader and undefeated, where they will face a thrashed Germany for Denmark.

The ‘Guerreras’ won once more from defense, with Silvia Navarro as the first line under the sticks, in a demanding clash against the also intractable Brazil. At the Torrevieja Sports Palace, both knew each other in the quarterfinals, but Spain was left with the good feelings of the victory and a more affordable rival a priori.
