The Greek forward Anastasios Douvikas has become the sixth signing of RC Celta this Monday, thus reinforcing the sky-blue attack for the next five seasons, until June 2028, as reported by the Galician entity in a statement.
“Anastasios Douvikas is the sixth signing of RC Celta this season after the agreement reached between the sky-blue club and FC Utrecht. The Hellenic striker lands in the city of Olivia to sign for 5 seasons, until 2028.
The 24-year-old striker was the top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with Utrecht, converting a total of 19 goals in the 32 league games he played, also providing 4 assists. In addition, he scored another 3 goals in the European play-offs and the KNVB Beker, the Dutch Soccer Cup.
Douvikas has been capped 15 times with the Greek team and comes to Celta to provide “scoring nose” as a “lethal striker in the area” who “constantly looks for space”. “A signing with extraordinary conditions with which RC Celta strengthens its squad to face this recently inaugurated Centenary campaign,” highlighted the entity, which confirms his sixth arrival this summer.
