The Grand Prix in Australia 2023 will be held on April 2

MADRID, 16 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix for the 2013 season will be held on April 2, the organizers of the event confirmed on Tuesday, so the event at the Albert Park circuit will not host the inaugural race of the course for the second year consecutive.

Bahrain held the first race of the 2022 season before the trials in Saudi Arabia and Melbourne; for many years, the ocean layout opened the world calendar of the ‘Great Circus’.

In addition, the organizers announced that, as part of a new 10-year contract with Formula 1, the race will continue to be held at Albert Park until 2028. Formula 1 has not yet confirmed the rest of the 2023 calendar.
