The Giants of New York win the game thanks to a drive led by Tommy DeVito.

There’s no question. The New York Giants beat the Green Bay Packers 24–22 on Monday night that MetLife Stadium thanks to a last-second drive that won the game for the Giants. From now on, the New York Giants have Tommy DeVito’s team in the playoffs.

The rookie quarterback, who wasn’t picked in the draft, completed all four passes and gained 53 yards.

He helped the Giants drive 57 yards within seven plays, setting up Randy Bullock’s last-second 37-yard field goal. It made the already unlikely story even stranger.

It was DeVito. “I mean, I like being on the field for every play.” “Just try to have fun.” This is where New York is because DeVito has taken three of his four games, including three in a row.

The Giants (5-8) are currently only one game behind the Packers (6-7) and the other four teams in the running for the last NFC wild card spot.

This after getting off to a terrible 2-7 start before going to DeVito because Daniel Jones as well as Tyrod Taylor were hurt.

The Elias Sports Bureau says he is only the third undrafted quarterback in the history of the common draft to win three of his initial four career games.

Adding him to the list are Ed Rubbert (1987) from Washington and Devlin Hodges (2019) from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I believe that as a the quarterback position, you need to keep your cool no matter what. “So you need to be able to handle everything as a quarterback.” That makes me proud.

“You know, because everything is high when you win, like we are now, and everything is low when you lose,” DeVito said

It’s something I’ve obviously gotten better at since I was 5 years old and played. I kept getting better at that part of my game all through high school and college.

Now that Taylor is fit, there is no doubt that the Giants will play DeVito instead of Taylor next week on their journey against the Saints of New Orleans. Before Monday night’s game, coach Brian Daboll wouldn’t say for sure.

It’s the story of Tommy DeVito in New Jersey. On Monday night, the New York Giants’ rookie underdog put on his best show yet.

Even though DeVito is a rookie, his head coach saw how tough and calm he was when the game was on the line.

DeVito raced and threw his way to Giants lore as the quarterback who led New York to an exciting 24–22 comeback win in the Green Bay Packers. He did this in front of his parents and a home crowd that he had rallied.

“Just go win the ball game,” DeVito told himself before the drive that won the game. We practice this two-minute drive each day before practice, so go do it.” Every day, we do it in different ways. “Just go play a game and win it.”

Brian Daboll, the head coach of the Giants, told DeVito, “Yeah, you have nothing to worry about that,” when asked about his ability to stay calm.

“He keeps his cool.” There isn’t much. These are some shows that we like. It’s time to rip him out of a b——. Not hard at all.”

The Giants have won three straight games for the first time since 2022, thanks to DeVito. This was the first time that a UDFA rookie had done this in the Common Draft Era.

After the second game-winning drive, he tied the NFL record for the most wins by a rookie unsigned quarterback in the Common Draft Era with three.

New York had a surprising 21-13 lead over the previously hot Packers team, but DeVito saw Jordan Love connect with Malik Green for a touchdown, making the score 22-21 with 1:33 left in the game. But DeVito’s story still has time left.

“I was standing next to Dabs,” DeVito said for Bullock’s field goal, which the quarterback and his head coach applauded together. “He wasn’t going to look at first. I don’t know if he was going to want me to say this or not.

He then said, “I’ll look.” “All right,” I said. That’s why we stood right next to each other. It was so exciting when we saw it go in. I reached out and gave him a hug. I then told him I loved him and celebrated with my team.
