Constant Lestienne, champion of the ATP Challenger of Pozoblanco 2022 – TENNIS KNOWLEDGE

French tennis player Constante Lestienne won the Open Ciudad de Pozoblanco Covap Memorial Fabián Dorado on Sunday, a Spanish event on the ATP Challenger circuit, after beating his compatriot Gregoire Barrere 6-0 and 7-6(3).
Lestienne continued to show one more gear than his rival, as during this week in the Cordoba event, at the start of the final. In 23 minutes, a 6-0 lead threatened an outcome without history, but Barrere wiped the slate clean in the second set.
Lestienne won the first game of the second act lovelessly, but Barrere stemmed the bleeding of unforced errors and won his first serve. Lestienne then gave up his serve for the second time in the entire tournament, vital confidence for Barrere who later saved the attacks on the rest of his rival to stay up (3-5).
Lestienne’s continuous attack raised the level when the set was already in danger, turning the set around until sudden death, where he was again forceful to seal a victory that gives him 80 ATP points with which he caresses the Top 100 in the world.
