The French Minister of Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, condemned the attack on the Olympique de Lyon bus before the Ligue 1 match against Olympique de Marseille, in which the coach, Pabio Grosso, was seriously injured, “acts of stupidity and hatred” for which the match was finally suspended and which “must be eradicated with the greatest determination”, as it is “a denial of the values of football and sport”.

The minister reported that there were already 7 detainees for the serious altercations, although the number of those arrested could have grown to 9, as reported by BMI this Monday.
GROSSO, INJURED IN THE FACE BY A DIRECT IMPACT
The duel between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique de Lyon scheduled for this Sunday at 8:45 p.m. at the Stade Vélodrome was suspended after the visiting bus was stoned by OM fans, injuring coach Fabio Grosso.
