Fuenlabrada is the last team from Madrid that has managed to win at the Heliodoro. This is almost an oasis in the desert, since 149 duels have been played so far against teams from the Madrid area (either in the First Division, Second, Second B, Third or Copa del Rey) and the balance is quite poor: 25 away wins, to Tenerife’s 87 and 37 draws.

This season, for exampleit’s been for the island Alcorcón falling by the minimum on matchday 17 thanks to Manolito Apeh’s goal and Leganés who added a point by equalizing 0-0 at the beginning of February.

There have been up to 23 capital clubs that have passed through Rodríguez López and all have lost at some time. The one who has moved the most times is the Vallecano Ray, who did it 29 times and only got one win. The rayista group is followed Real Madrid Castilla (on 18 occasions) and Real Madrid and Atletico (with 13 each).

The first team from the capital to visit the chicharrero stadium was the merengue subsidiary, on March 4, 1956, game that ended 5-2. It was his older brother who handed Tenerife their first defeat -0-3 in the fleeting passage through the First Division in the 61/62 season-. For the Copa del Rey, Tenerife’s dominance is even greater since only Real Madrid, in 2004, was able to win on the Island (1-2 with two goals from Santiago Solari). Of the remaining nine games, five were won by Tenerife and four ended in draws. For this reason, the Island is still half cursed for Madrid clubs.
