The First RFEF clubs will distribute € 2M for the Cup

The Federation has approved this Tuesday a package of aid for the clubs that compete in First RFEF. “Aid for professionalization, the incentive for grassroots football or prizes for participation and the eliminatory rounds passed in the Copa del Rey are the concepts for which clubs can receive significant subsidies,” says the federative entity.

“The governing body, through its First RFEF Program, has just made public the list of aid to sports entities in the new category that have voluntarily joined the aforementioned program. The total planned amount of subsidies in this section exceeds 4 million euros and to these are added the aid for concepts such as travel extra-peninsular and / or inter-island, aid for sports equipment, or funds from Cantera con Valores, all of them independent of the First RFEF Program, “reads the statement.

The RFEF allocates a maximum total of € 4,340,000 to this program in the 2021/2022 season. Which will be distributed as follows in four concepts. A maximum of 1.6 million for help with professionalization; 640,000 for the incentive and promotion of grassroots football; € 1.1M for participating in the first phase of the Cup, and another million euros for going to the round. Amounts to be distributed among the clubs that meet the conditions and standards established by the RFEF, such as not being any branch or club dependent on a professional.

For now, It has already been established what amount corresponds to each club for professionalization (50,000 euros) and for basic training (20,000 euros), although it is likely to increase, although unlikely, since there are six clubs (Castellón, Andorra, Algeciras, Extremadura, Cultural and Real Unión) that have not yet delivered the required documentation. The 2.1 million euros for the Cup will not be distributed until they are all eliminated from it and it is known who has managed to overcome more phases, so they would receive more money than the rest of the clubs.
