The first match of women's Málaga suspended due to several cases of COVID-19

Bad news for Málaga women. His match against Cáceres, from the first day of the Iberdrola Challenge League (the second category of women's football) that was scheduled for this Sunday has had to be suspended because of several positives in COVID-19 detected in the Malaga team. “The Royal Spanish Football Federation will suspend the match corresponding to the first day of Group South‘ A ’of the Iberdrola Challenge, which faced Málaga CF Femenino and CF Femenino Cáceres this coming Sunday in Extremadura.

The club, after detecting positive cases of COVID-19 in the blue and white first squad, following the established protocol, reported the health situation to the RFEF monitoring committee, that it has decided to postpone the first game of the season for Nati Gutiérrez's team, “to a new date as close as possible in time to be determined by this body as soon as all the circumstances that allow its dispute are proven.”
