MADRID, 19 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Madrid Río has been the heart of urban sports for three days and after a day on Saturday that hosted four finals, Madrid Urban Sports closes on Sunday in style.

Neither the heat nor the rain managed to stop a dedicated audience that once again enjoyed tricks and impossible steps in Central Park, Street Plaza and the Urban Stage.

The Bboys and Bgirls premiered the Urban Stage, more than 240 dancers fighting to get to the Top 32 and be able to compete for a long-awaited place in the final. The Urban Stage hosted the Top 8 and the grand final of Breaking in a competition format of epic battles with many points at stake ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Also, it was a high voltage Sunday in Central Park. The first to skate down the ramps were the youngest in the competition. The final of the Scootering World Championships Women welcomed the best international riders.

At the UCI BMX Men Final, the riders flew at high speed with all the tricks they had in store to fight for the top spot on the podium. The last final, the Scootering World Championships Men, risking the maximum in the conquest of the title of Scootering world champion.

The Street Plaza put the finishing touch to Madrid Urban Sports, closing its doors and awarding the title of world champion to the best rider of the final Scootering World Championships Men.
