The Executive Committee of the FFF accepted the latest allegations presented by the owner of the club, the Spanish-Luxembourg businessman Gerard Lopezto show their confidence in the financial viability of the entity after its demotion to second.

At first, the National Directorate for Management Control (DNCG), an economic monitoring body for French football, considered that his accounts were not viable and ordered him to go down to the non-professional National League.

The sale of Mara generated 11 million euros

Lopez submitted allegations to the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF), including some financial improvements, such as the aid for having dropped (about 7 million euros), the contribution of the CVC investment fund (8.25 million), a delay in the rental of the stadium (5 million) and the sale of Sekou Mara al Southamptonwhich generated 11 million.

On Saturday, first match against Valenciennes

These arguments have convinced the FFF, which has ruled in favor of keeping the club in professional football, although with an important monitoring of its accounts. The club will be subject to “a reinforced and regular control”, although it will be able to start the championship next Saturday against Valenciennes.
