The Spanish Primera División is the “most expensive” competition for visiting fans compared to league tournaments in England, France, Germany and the Netherlands, according to a study carried out by the Spanish Football Shareholders and Partners Federation (FASFE) throughout throughout the 2022/23 season.
At an average rate of 35.13 euros per ticket, the National League Championship is followed in this order by the English Premier League, which has capped the maximum price since 2019 at 30 pounds; the German Bundesliga, with an average of 15.62 euros; the Dutch Eredivisie, with a cap of 15 euros, and the French Ligue 1, which is the cheapest with a cap of 10 euros.
As for other domestic tournaments, the Spanish Copa del Rey is also the one that has the highest price in its final date, with 78 euros being the cheapest amount that had to be paid for the ticket, without restriction of visibility, in the final that faced Real Madrid and CA Osasuna on May 6.
Said amount paid in La Cartuja is far from the next most expensive, the 52.37 euros for the change that the cheapest ticket cost to access Wembley to witness the FA Cup final between Manchester City on June 3 and Manchester United.

The data has been obtained by FASFE throughout the 2022/23 academic year according to a sample of prices in the First and Second Division, as well as in matches of the aforementioned Copa del Rey. Data have also been collected from the homologous competitions in the other powerful countries of the ‘Old Continent’.
