The Endesa Mini Cup renews its image and aesthetics for its 20th birthday

MADRID, 15 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Association of Basketball Clubs (ACB) announced this Wednesday that the 20th edition of the Endesa Mini Cup will completely renew its image and aesthetics, “with a ‘look’ full of color and strength” to continue “evoking the stars and the future “, having evolved “to become a key event” within Spanish basketball.

“The ‘Claws’ lynx will continue to be the protagonist with a more modern and digital image, complementing a versatile ‘look’ for its physical and digital applications,” said the ACB in its press release about a children’s tournament that was born in the 2003 season. 04 as Mini Cup, accompanying the Copa del Rey from that moment on.

“So far 116 children have made their debut in the Endesa League, turning the motto ‘Where the stars are born’ into a reality. Among the big names that have shone in the Mini Cup we find Ricky Rubio, Luka Doncic, Victor Wembanyama, Alberto Díaz , Domantas Sabonis or Jaime Fernández, among many others,” added the press text.

The first step of the 20th Endesa Mini Cup will be seen from December 6 to 8 on the Costa Daurada of Tarragona, venue of the first phase. “16 ACB teams, more than 200 children, will experience an event that is much more than basketball and in which the six best will qualify for the final phase, in Malaga in February and in which Real Madrid is already waiting — current champion– and Unicaja –host–“, the note concluded.
