He coincided with his son Felipe and Doña Sofía at the funeral of Juan Gómez-Acebo; and of Alejandro Fernández de Araoz, former governor of the Bank of Spain and husband of Isabel Gómez-Acebo, sister-in-law of the Infanta Pilar. The meal in honour of the young birthday girl was attended by her mother, who arrived driving her own car, and her grandfather Juan Carlos, who entered the palace at full speed. Queen Sofia and King Felipe were also present. Cristina, who has already been rehabilitated within the House after her appearance with the monarch at the wedding of Victoria López-Quesada, and three of her children attended, as Alessandro Lequio has hinted on Telecinco.
