The eleven of the eighth day of LaLiga SmartBank

The eighth LaLiga SmartBank matchday had eleven protagonists that we detail below. Alkain (Real Sociedad B) and Yuri (Ponferradina) stood out with two doublets. Jesé (Las Palmas) scored one and gave another two; and Shasoua (Tenerife) and Robertone (Almería) scored one and gave another. In goal Dani Martín (Málaga) was very serious.

Goalie

Dani Martin (Malaga)

The Sporting youth squad managed to keep a clean sheet for the second time so far this season, with a great performance against Fuenlabrada. Against Madrid he completed four stops that ultimately served to achieve victory after two consecutive losses.

Defenses

Peybernes (Malaga)

Peybernes was the other key Málaga player to score three important points against Fuenlabrada. The center-back scored the only goal of the match by taking advantage of a fabulous delivery from Jozabed from the left wing, culminating in a better header from the Frenchman. The ball flew through the goal to the opposing squad.

Bernardo (Girona)

Bernardo made Girona dream of the possibility of getting something positive against the intractable Almería. The Colombian center-back scored the goal that put the momentary equalizer on the scoreboard, however, the Girona team ended up being defeated. Bad performance of a team called to fight for high levels, but which is in relegation places.

Grego Sierra (Burgos)

Burgos returned to the path of victory after three games without succeeding to momentarily get out of relegation. The victory came by the minimum and with a goal from a Grego Sierra who returned to play a month and a half later. The center-back finished off with his head Andy Rodríguez's delivery from a set piece.

Midfielders

Shashoua (Tenerife)

The Englishman was one of the brightest players of the day, with a goal and an assist in Tenerife's victory over Huesca. In the first of the goals, the pass was scored, in a play of faith: he launched himself with everything to steal a ball inside the area and broke Escriche before attending Corredera. The second was his and again after a big cut inside the area.

Alkain (Real Sociedad B)

Alkain got his first double of the season at the expense of a poor Alcorcón who sinks in the table. The winger scored the last two goals of the realistic subsidiary. The first, after collecting a reject; the second, after a beautiful personal move in which he dribbled two players before beating Dani Jiménez.

Robertone (Almeria)

In a day full of recitals, Robertone could not miss to place Almería as the leader of Second. The Argentine sees football like few others and against Girona the assistance of both Sadiq's goal was aimed and he made the second that put the final 1-2. Almería can play whatever Robertone wants.

Pejiño (Las Palmas)

Pejiño is already in his highest scoring course since he was a professional and that only eight games have been played. The one from Barbate scored a goal in Las Palmas's win against Cartagena and now has five, which makes him second in the table of top scorers in the Second Division.

Forwards

Jesé (Las Palmas)

The dazzling Jesé is back. The Las Palmas striker drove Cartagena crazy that could not stop him. One goal and two assists is his balance of the game. His goal, beautifully made, with a mince before the departure of Marc Martínez. His assists, that of the first and fourth goals, from Pejiño and Peñaranda, respectively.

Yuri (Ponferradina)

We never tire of saying it. Years go by and Yuri still does not lose one iota of his quality. Against Valladolid he scored a pure ram double. In the first goal he showed the mettle to beat Roberto. The second came from the penalty spot, in an action that he himself suffered. Ponferradina continues to aim high.

Sadiq (Almeria)

Don't say goal, say Umar Sadiq. The Nigerian forward scored a goal against Girona that served him two purposes. The first, to place its leading team in LaLiga SmartBank; and the second, to become the top scorer alone. Six goals, of which he has scored four in the last three games.
