The Copa del Rey 2023/2024 will know its quarterfinal matches this Friday starting at 1:00 p.m., with the draw involving Atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona, Athletic Club, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Girona, RC Celta and Mallorca.
The Las Rozas Football City will host a new cup draw after the round of 16 ended on Thursday after midnight at the Cívitas Metropolitano. Atlético eliminated Real Madrid (4-2) in extra time and completed the draw that will be drawn this Friday in the capital, a draw that will be broadcast live through Movistar Plus, RTVE Play and the official media of the RFEF.
In addition to Atlético, FC Barcelona also qualified on Thursday, eliminating Unionistas FC, from Primera RFEF, with a comeback included (1-3). The eight quarterfinal teams are from LaLiga EA Sports: Atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona, Athletic Club, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Girona, RC Celta and Mallorca.
The quarterfinals, which will be played next week, will be the last single-match tie and will be played on the field of the team that comes first in the draw. The objective: the final on April 6 at the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville, the same venue where the title match was played last season, where Real Madrid was proclaimed champion.
