Tragedy has struck one of Marbella’s most beloved families. “She recently found out that her husband had a son out of wedlock,” Pilar Vidal said. “Cari was extremely upset when she found out, as was the case for the rest of her family, but the latest news was that they were going to make it public, that they were going to recognise this person, with whom they already had contact.” She added: “They wanted to make it normal, a bit like what happened to Carlos Baute. It’s okay, there are people who don’t recognise it at the moment and it takes a while. And that’s what they were going to do when the grief over the father’s death had subsided a bit.”

It should be remembered that Cari and Antonio Matos married in 2008 in Ibiza and were parents of two children, Pedro (13) and mini Cari (10). They had gone through a strong crisis that they did not want to make public and during which, he had another relationship, from which a son was born.
