The detainee at Oslo airport obsessed with marrying Ingrid from Norway: 17 suitcases and two weapons

Alarms went off at Oslo airport. Police officers arrested a man from the United States, who landed in the Norwegian capital with 17 suitcases weighing 250 kilos. The arrested man stated that he had planned to spend some time in Norwegian lands, that he was carrying weapons, but had no ammunition, as pointed out by the local press. Furthermore, his plans involved applying for a permit to own housekeepers there. To this unusual story, it is added that he carried a notebook with information on some members of the Norwegian royalty. Specifically, he was obsessed with marrying Haakon and Mette Marit's daughter, Princess Ingrid.

It is not the first time that this citizen has been intercepted by the police. Three years ago, in August 2021, he was expelled from the country after breaking into the Royal Palace, where Kings Harald V and Sonja live, and the residence of the crown princes.

Ingrid, second in the line of succession after her father Haakon, will turn 20 on January 21.
