The coronavirus forces the cancellation of the friendly between Mali and Iran

The Mali-Iran friendly meeting, scheduled for this Tuesday in the Turkish city of Antalya, has been canceled after two positives for coronavirus were detected in the African squad.

The Malian Football Federation reported the suspension through a statement indicating that the decision has been made in agreement with the referee and the Iranian Federation.

Both teams came to this preparatory meeting after winning their last matches. Iran, third in their World Cup qualifying group, beat Uzbekistan 2-1, and Mali beat Ghana 3-0 precisely in Antalya.
