The Copa del Rey 19/20 already has semifinals. In the edition with major surprises that are remembered, influenced by the new single-party format, Real Sociedad and Mirandés will face in the first duel with the first leg in Anoeta (next week), while Athletic Bilbao and Granada will do so in the other with the going in San Mamés. The laps, which in this edition only arrive in this last round before the grand final, will be played in the first week of March in Anduva and Los Cármenes.

Granada, Mirandés, Real Sociedad and Athletic already know the penultimate step they have to take to be the new king of Spanish football. The draw of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), with homage to La Cartuja after being assigned last Tuesday as the venue for the final until 2023, has held some semifinals that will leave a more than ever unexpected finalists and with that you go to the Spanish Super Cup that will continue to be in Saudi Arabia.

Donostiarras and Burgos will cross in the first semifinals in which those of Miranda de Ebro continue to arrive as a great cinderella but having already warned all clubs of their potential for surprise. They did it first by eliminating Celta, then with the almighty Sevilla and finally against Villarreal to return to the round they reached in 2012. A fetish round where Athletic threw them and in which they will now see a Real Sociedad that arrives after Give the bell and eliminate Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.

On the other hand, Granada hopes to reach its first final in history and all after getting rid of the current champion, a Valencia that nothing could do against those of Diego Martínez. But for this, they will have to get rid of a Biscayan cadre that arrives with all the moral of a unique opportunity after sinking Barcelona into the black crisis that already lasts nine months.

In this way, Real and Mirandés will meet next week in Anoeta and then define in Anduva, after the break for Champions and Europa League, if it is the Basques who fight for their third Cup, 33 years later, or the Burgos who They try to conquer the first and give the big surprise of the Second Division club. In addition, Athletic and Granada hope to be the great favorite to lift the twenty-fourth (they have not taken La Gabarra for 36 years) or reach the first fight for a title in their history and take a direct ticket to the Spanish Super Cup for a team that is surprising on his return to Primera both in this tournament and in LaLiga.
