The confrontation between Cristina and Letizia that left Felipe trembling last summer: “You are nobody”

Queen Sofia has managed to bring the whole family together in Marivent. It will be at the end of July when her three children, her eight grandchildren and Mrs. Letizia coincide in a meeting that will delight the emeritus but that will test, once again, the patience and know-how of adults. Both women staged a strong confrontation during a dinner in the hall of the Bourbon vacation palace. According to Lectures, the queen has just finished one of her intense training sessions and sat at the table without changing her clothes, a detail that greatly annoyed her sister-in-law. The Infanta Cristina reproached her for her attitude and the wife of Felipe VI did not remain silent: “You are nobody to tell me how I should dress”, he replied. The aforementioned medium affirms that the discussion escalated and that Letizia reminded the infanta that she was on vacation, that she was there thanks to her children and that if she were not for them she would never return to Marivent.

At the end of July, one year after that unfortunate incident, Letizia and Cristina will see their faces again on the same stage. This time the Infanta Elena will also be there with her children, Froilán and Victoria Federica. It will be the first full family reunion five years after Doña Sofía’s birthday, the last time we could see all the Bourbons in the same photo.
