It will probably be the hardest night of my career so far and I don’t know where to start so I’ll start with what surprised me the most, the fans. Simply to say thank you for everything, for the support, for the farewell at the airport, for not stopping cheering on the field. I still remember the moment yesterday when I went out into the field and my hair stood on end. When I got here they told me that Valencia had good fans and it seems that this person fell short. Surely thanks to you we have also reached where we have arrived.

Once again the bitter face of football touched me, and it is neither the first nor the last time that it will happen to me, but I am sure that as I have done so far, I will get up again. And finally, talk about the pride of colleagues that I have. Not only for leaving everything, but for the day to day. The support I have had since I arrived has been incredible and they have made me enjoy this like a little child, in every training session, in every game. What I have no doubt is that what I experienced last night helped me to realize that Valencia has to be among the best in Spain and riding through Europe, and we will fight for it.

I’ve seen that people have doubts about this team for next season and I don’t know why. This year they also doubted us and we were able to reach a Copa del Rey final.

Nobody says it will be easy but if we are together everything will be easier, we must not stop trusting this team or the coach. Valencia is a sentiment that I was able to discover during this short time that I was here, and yesterday we showed in Seville that, despite being fewer people and having all the statistics against us, they could not beat us as easily as people might think. We have to be proud of ourselves and for these remaining games and next year we will not stop believing in Valencia. Amunt Valencia!!

Yesterday I had to live my first losing final in my first year in the elite, immense pain for the effort of the whole team to get here and especially for all of you who were there from the beginning to the end without stopping shouting and cheering . Proud to be able to belong to this great family and be from Valencia. In debt to you, WE WILL RETURN to the top!
