The COE presents the XVI edition of 'All Olympics' to disseminate “the values ​​of sport” in schools

The Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) presented this Monday the sixteenth edition of 'All Olympics', an educational campaign whose objective is to disseminate “the values ​​of sport and Olympism among schools in Spain.”

This initiative, which began in 2008 in the Community of Madrid, has been growing exponentially and is currently also being developed in educational centers in the Valencian Community, Extremadura, Castilla y León, Andalusia and the Canary Islands. “It has started its sixteenth edition to spread, for yet another year, the values ​​of sport and Olympicism among the schools of our country,” the COE highlighted on its website.

This program consists of a presentation focused on fourth, fifth and sixth grade students, where they are offered in a “didactic, interactive and practical” way, the “sports and personal experiences of elite and Olympic athletes.” In them they transmit “the values ​​of Olympicism and sport”, such as equality; I respect; overcoming; effort and perseverance.

The fifteen athletes in charge of giving these conferences in the different schools will be: the wrestler Marina Rueda, the judoka David Moronta and the gymnast Carolina Pascual in Madrid; the handball player Montse Puche and the shooter Javier García in the Valencian Community; the athlete Yanira Soto and the triathlete Francesc Godoy in the Canary Islands.

In addition, the gymnast Laura Campos and the athlete Houssame Benabbou will teach classes in Extremadura; the swimmer Laura López and the handball player Óscar Perales in Castilla y León; as well as the hockey player Yurema Panadero, the handball player Adriá Ortolá, the shooter Shenaida Mérida and the athlete Alejandro Estévez in Andalusia.
