The Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and Banco Santander, sponsor of the Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race, delivered this Sunday to the Madrid test that brought together 18,000 women in the capital of Spain the Sustainable Sports Event Seal, reports the COE in a statement.

The Women’s Race is the first event to receive this distinction and reiterates its status as a pioneering organization and at the forefront of corporate social responsibility. Present at the event were the director of Marketing and Sponsorship of the COE, Manuel Parga, and the director of Sponsorship and Events of Banco Santander, Felipe Martín.

“Respect for the environment, and raising awareness among all the participants of the event about the importance of complying in all areas with the commitments of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda are fundamental axes for Motorpress Ibérica in all our events. Without a doubt, we are very proud to have been the first to receive this seal in Spain. This recognition will be an impetus to continue in this line in all the sectors in which we carry out our activity, “said María Wandosell, CEO of Motorpress Ibérica.
